Who we are
If you ask most pet owners, they would say their pets are their babies. Our pets deserve the highest quality of care and love that human can offer. Education helps owners and pet pros understand & communicate with their pets. Pet first aid training can give you peace of mind that'll you will be able to recognize and help your pet should they experience a medical emergency.
Ready Pet Education believes that all pet owners and professionals should have a basic understanding of pet health emergencies. Our courses are designed to take you off the page and into the real world. Our content goes beyond just describing how to treat a condition & includes includes information such as:
1) how to identify when an emergency is happening
2) how to prevent it (if possible)
3) what to do when it happens
4) what to expect when arriving at the vet for treatment
We started teaching in 2018 after seeing the need in the pet services industry. Teaming up with veterinarians, we developed real-world lessons that you can put into action today to help protect your fur babies (and clients).
TESTIMONIALS
-
Our facility had a dog go into cardiac arrest during playgroup - using knowledge they gained during their first aid course, MY STAFF were able to jump into action and perform cpr. I am happy to report that the dog regained circulation before reaching the vet & made a full recovery!

Our pet first aid courses are designed to educate pet owners and pet pros & make them feel confident acting in case of various medical emergencies. Our information covers adult cats and dogs.
Each topic is discussed in steps:
defining the medical emergency
how to recognize it
how to prevent it (if possible)
how to treat it
what to expect at the vet. Check out each courses syllabus on their respective pages.
Each course page has a syllabus that you can view to learn which topics it will cover.
Our courses do not cover every possible medical condition. Students should triage their pets based on information provided, their best judgment and common sense and understand that disease physiology is complex. A veterinarian is the ultimate source of information for pet health.

Our courses cover adult dogs and cats. At this time, we do not offer information about other species or age groups.
